Sweetheart Layouts of Matt & Lisa

Here are the layouts I just completed of our friends Matt & Lisa - these are some of the engagement photos Scott took.   I really had fun doing these!    Congratulations on your engagement, Lisa & Matt!

This last layout has an interactive element.   That button on the left causes the picture to slide to the right and reveal another picture underneath - pretty cool.   You just cut a slit in the page protector and the button goes on top of the protector.   Here's another picture with the photo slid to the right:

Love & Friendship Card Workshop

Here's the workshop I'm doing next Sat. 2/5 and Mon. 2/7.  These cards feature all NEW products from the CTMH Spring/Summer Idea Book.  This paper pack is called Sweetheart!   Lots of new stamp sets will be used, as well as some new ribbons, buttons and brads.  We're making eight Valentine's, wedding and friends cards.   The $15 fee includes lunch.   You can make two sets for $25.

Studio J Goes Live Today for CTMH Customers!

Today is the Day! Studio J, Close to My Heart's answer to digital scrapbooking went live on my website karenvarcoe.myctmh.com! It is SO fun to play with. I never thought I would like it because I'm a hands on kind of person, but I've been having a blast playing with it.



Be sure to create an account so your layouts will be saved for 90 days. Don't worry... it's free until you decide to place an order! Just click on the Studio J tab once you get to my website.



Those coming to my National Scrapbook Day crop this week-end will get a demo!



One distinct advantage is the ability to adjust a photo to any size you need for a layout. Need an 8x10? No problem, just drop your photo into that 8x10 photo well in your digital layout, and - it's magic!



I'll be the first to admit I'm technologically challenged, but Studio J is VERY user friendly! Try one paper pack... hmm... doesn't look quite right... switch to another pack!

I had so much fun making these 4x4 cards. I made them after I made one double page layout from the Instruction Guide included in the kit -- and there's still plenty of paper left!
